The Yamaha Aluminum Performance Damper for the 2024–2026 MT-09 and XSR900 series (Manufacturer Part Number: Q5K-YSK-146-F01 ) is a premium chassis stabilization system. Unlike a steering damper which controls side-to-side handlebar wobble, this performance damper is an evolution of Yamaha's automotive technology designed to suppress microscopic structural vibrations and frame flexing during riding.
