The Pirelli Scorpion Trail II is a premium street-enduro motorcycle tire engineered specifically for modern, high-displacement adventure touring and dual-purpose motorcycles. Derived directly from the engineering DNA of Pirelli’s premier Angel GT sport touring line, it is optimized for riders who spend the vast majority of their time on pavement but demand the versatility to tackle light dirt excursions.

  • Rear Bi-Compound Configuration: Features an advanced dual-compound composition across all rear sizes. A durable, high-mileage silica blend runs down the center strip to ensure long-distance structural integrity, while a softer, highly responsive compound on the shoulders optimizes cornering grip under extreme lean angles. 
  • Sport Touring-Derived Profile: Directly inherits its geometry from professional sport-touring tires. This design yields a shorter but significantly wider footprint contact patch that distributes friction evenly, delivering linear, predictable turn-ins and neutralizing uneven tread wear over time.
  • High-Load Structural Carcass: The carcass and internal belt construction are specially rigidified to effortlessly support the extreme weight and high torque of heavy adventure-touring bikes, ensuring rock-solid tracking even when traveling at high highway speeds with a pillion passenger and fully loaded panniers. 
Terrain Capability & Tread Layout
  • Surface Application Split: Officially categorized as a 90% Street / 10% Off-Road tire. It behaves precisely like an agile sport-touring tire on the tarmac but features enough tread depth to safely navigate fire roads, packed gravel, and light dirt trails. It is completely unsuited for heavy mud, sand, or technical off-road tracks. 
  • Aggressive Functional Drainage: The tread pattern combines the rugged aesthetic of the Scorpion dirt line with deep, wide water-evacuation channels. High-angle lateral grooves quickly dispel standing water to guard against hydroplaning, providing industry-leading traction and reduced braking distances on wet asphalt.
