The Pirelli MT 60 RS is a high-performance, street-oriented on/off-road motorcycle tire engineered for custom builds, scramblers, and urban retro bikes. It seamlessly combines a rugged, vintage dual-sport aesthetic with the advanced cornering grip and high-silica compound architecture of modern sport tires. 

Core Technical Engineering

  • Superbike-Derived Racing Compound: Formulated with a special high-silica blend that allows the rugged block design to warm up rapidly, delivering superb dry cornering grip and exceptional stability under braking. 
  • Radial Carcass with 0° Steel Belt: Built with a specific radial carcass structure (on core sizes) that minimizes tire weight while providing rigid straight-line tracking, precise lean-angle feedback, and a highly responsive handling feel.
  • Multi-Pitch Tread Block Layout: Features varying-sized, multi-pitch tread elements along the edges. This multi-pitch geometry reduces block movement, maximizes the tire’s overall footprint contact patch, and noticeably minimizes asphalt tread roar. 
  • Optimized Wet Weather Drainage: Uses specialized, wide grooves configured across the main pattern to evacuate standing surface water quickly, guaranteeing heavy rain stability and high wet-asphalt traction.
  • Surface Application: Rated as a 60% Street / 40% Off-Road tire. It is optimized for urban tarmac commutes, canyon carving, fire roads, hard-packed dirt, and light gravel exploration. It is strictly not intended for deep mud or heavy sand. 
  • Lifespan Expectations: Due to its soft, ultra-sticky compound blocks, real-world rear tire wear ranges from 6,000 to 9,000 kilometers depending on riding styles. Front tires typically offer extended mileage and highly even wear distribution.
